Steve Wilmer grew up in the projects of Pensacola, Florida. Upon his graduation from Pensacola High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After 8 years of honorable service, he returned home and spent the next 10 years as a law enforcement officer. He was later recruited by a State Farm agent and quickly became one of the top producers in the state of Florida. Steve is now a renowned speaker & sales coach. He has authored three books, a sales manual, and is the president of the Risk Advisor Institute. He travels the country bringing Marine Corps motivation and tradition to his audiences, one of the finest of which being the culture of the Marine Corps, which is to Improvise, Adapt, & Overcome. Steve’s wife Erin is a retired Navy Chief and a financial advisor. They have four “well-mannered” children: Judah, Josiah, Joi & Jayna.

Join us at the Park on Sunday, May 26th to honor the brave men and women who lost their lives protecting our freedoms. Featuring a flyover by the VT-10 Wildcats, the USMC Color Guard, patriotic performances by McGuire’s Pipe Band and the Pensacola Opera Chorus, and guest speaker author, sales Trainer, and US Marine Corps Veteran Steve Wilmer. Ceremonies begin promptly at 1 PM.

OF THE WALL
The 58,318 names engraved on the granite panels will be read aloud at the apex of The Wall South by community members, students, veterans and active duty personnel. This solemn process, which will begin on Saturday, November 5th, will continue daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Thursday, November 10 and will require over 1,200 volunteers.
