Veterans Memorial Park Foundation of Pensacola is taking the month of January to honor our soldiers and Patriots who bravely fought for liberty and freedom during the American Revolution. Bring your friends and family to the park for a walk or a picnic and take a minute to remember our heroes at 'The Minuteman' memorial.

A Visit from Author Tim O’Brien

Tim O’Brien, author of The Things They Carried, will be in Pensacola October 9 – 11. O’Brien is a Vietnam veteran and his book is a modern classic about the war and its after effects. Jill Hubbs, board member for the Veterans Memorial Park will be taking Mr. O’Brien on a tour of the park and the Wall South on Thursday, October 9th at 5:00 pm.
