Pensacola Community Unites to Honor and Remember on Pearl Harbor Day

A big crowd was at The Pensacola Aviation Center on Monday to honor local World War 2 Veterans on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. The supporters were treated to displays of World War 2 era Vehicles and planes in addition to the ceremony.
Television personality and Retired Army General Al Gilly, who hosts a military information talk show, was on hand to welcome and honor the veterans.
"We’re here to celebrate our heroes who were there on the morning of December 7, 1941,” said Gilly. "American heroes who made a difference in our nation then and they’re still making a difference now.”
His show. Forward March, airs at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on UTV Channel 44 on Wednesdays.
"They had everything here, from the old planes and cars and the folks who actually served,” said Vietnam veteran Robert Clayton, who attended the event with his two children. "This was a great opportunity teach the kids about Pearl Harbor and World War 2.”
